This is a place where we will stay again. Not fancy or overpriced, but great location and service. Wonderful breakfast, heated pool and courtyard. Near most attractions and restaurants. The bed is great and love the in room refrigerator and microwave. Great stay!!!

I had a freak accident sort of visit. My wife and I have stayed here multiple times before. One of the times we staid we were presented a gift bag at our arrival. This time was completely different. We arrived at 5 am and had to switch rooms but they were nice enough to check us in way early. The room they put us in was a handicap accessible room. My wife and I had been up all night driving and so we immediately fell asleep. At 8am and 8:30am we were barged in on by housekeeping and maintenance. so after 2-3 hours of sleep my wife had to go to the front office and ask them to please stop people from coming into the room. after that she couldn't go back to sleep so she took a shower and water went all over the floor it was in the hall and very slippery. She and I both slipped on the water in the hall she asked the front desk if we could change rooms because we have a toddler that we didn't want to slip and fall. The manager told her "I don't want to go see the water on the floor... if you were unsatisfied with the room you need to bring it to our attention before you use it" He finally agreed to change our rooms to another room on the second story in the back of the hotel. we were charged $50 for the use of the room with the slippery floor. Once we got settled in the new room we found a marijuana blunt left on the ledge of the balcony. We flushed that down the toilet. A few hours later the latch on the door broke off. We found out our toddler can open the door even with the deadbolt being locked if that latch isn't closed. We called the front desk and they changed our rooms again. After going through three rooms in a 12 hour time period the front desk employee let us know how irritated she was with us the next morning when we were checking out. Eyes rolling and sighs of irritation. Did I mention that the last room we were in the sliding screen door was off of the tracks just resting on the wall. We had wonderful stays the other times we were here but this one just tipped the scales and I am not sure that we would go back. We staid here Thursday August 21 and Friday August 22 we staid at a Best Western in Pismo Beach for less than we paid for the unhappy experience we had here.

I would like to apologize to Patrick C for his latest experience at our hotel It would appear that we dropped the ball, and it then blew up. My sincerest apologies.
However, I would like to clarify one thing. Normally when you check in 10 hours early, you are charged the full rate. We discounted the rate to $50.00 as a form of compensation for the inconveniences you had encountered.
I'm not sure what happened with the lock, they do not typically break like that. As far as the balcony issues, I have nothing to say except we obviously overlooked it, and again, my apologies.
I'm glad all your other visits to our hotel were excellent, and I sincerely hope that you keep all your positive experiences in mind the next time you are in our area.

I recently stayed at BW wine country for four nights to visit sonoma wineries. Everything about the stay was good. The hotel is not fancy, but it had everything we needed. It is located just a little northwest of downtown at the southbound exit from 101. It is close to wineries west of 101 including Russian River. It is a quick trip up 101 to Healdsburg and Dry Creel wineries. We also had an easy trip towards the town of Sonoma. There is an Appleby's across the street. Fine dining and Russian River Brewing are a few miles away in downtown Santa Rosa. There is a mall, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods within a short distance. Siduri Wine is within walking distance and Inspiration is close by.
The room was a good size with two comfortable beds. The bathroom was good. There was a large refrigerator in the room along with a flat screen TV. We had a deck looking at the pool that was nice in the morning and evening. The room were slanted to give us a lot of privacy. The room was very quiet despite being near 101 and being crowded on the weekend. The breakfast was good and had eggs, sausage and/or bacon, pancakes, yogurt, bagels, cereal, and drinks.

Room Tip: Had 201 and it was quiet and private.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our hotel and services. I'm glad you found everything you needed to be close by. Many people like that our balconies and patios are slanted giving you a semi-private area to relax. Next time you are in our area be sure to check out Paradise Ridge Winery which is right up the hill from us.
Thanks again for your review, and we can't wait to see you again soon.

I stay at this hotel every time I come to Santa Rosa. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are comfortable. I had a quiet uneventful 3 night stay. Just like I wanted. The breakfast was complimentary and different every morning.

We arrived late in the day. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms were clean and looked inviting. Double rooms only have 2 double beds but were comfortable. Had 2 bottles of FREE water in the refrigerator. FREE cookies in the lobby area. Room was dark when the lights went out and quite. The breakfast was good. Lots to choose from with biscuits and sausage gravy, bacon, eggs, cereals, etc. They also had pancakes but we didn't find them until after we had finished eating....they were across the room in a corner from the rest of the food.

This was our first time staying at this hotel, and we were very pleased. For the most part, any problems we experienced were taken care of. The front desk staff were very courteous and went out of their way to be helpful. We are usually in this area once a year to visit friends and would stay here again.

Left my computer in the room. Housekeeping staff found it and returned it. Thank you so much. Breakfast was also good and plentiful. Beds were comfortable and slept well. Very convenient to Applebee's restaurant, which is close.
