We were attending a trade show which was located two blocks from Hotel La Rose. The hotel was convenient to the venue. We were told when we checked in that there would be a hot breakfast included with our room. After checking into our room we try to get on the internet, which did not work. We called the front desk, he was kind enough to try and fixed the internet problem, but could not. They offered to upgrade us to another room, but we like the room we had in the newer part of the hotel across the street with an outdoor patio. The only way we could be on the internet was to go to the hotel lobby with our laptop computer. Our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor patio each evening. The first morning for breakfast there were some eggs along with toast, bacon and coffee. The next two mornings there wasn't a hot breakfast only toast and coffee. The hotel manager told us that there was a difference of opinion between the two hotel owners about serving a hot breakfast or not. The staff was very friendly and also tried to make things right. We got the feeling that there were problems when it came to the owners of the hotel. Even when it came to getting the internet to work. We are not sure when we return to Santa Rosa, if we would stay at Hotel La Rose again.
