Our reservation was for 7 pm, and we were seated at 7:30. We waited 45 minutes for our order to be taken, and then another 40 minutes to be served. The pasta was okay, but not work $13 I paid for angel hair with tomato sauce. It was noisy, too. we needed to be up EARLY the next day. They didn't apologize, and then had the gall to load 18% automatic tip into our bill for this horrible service. Avoid this place!

I'm a local, and with my wife and kids out of town, recently I hit LoCoco's twice in a five day period. It's everything previous reviewers have said, both good and bad. On the positive side, I think the food is delicious, there's a large selection, and they have many specials. On the negative, it's loud, crazy, crowded, the staff can be abrupt at best, and the waits can be l-o-n-g. But to me, these negatives are part of its allure. It's family style Italian, old-school. You want slick and efficient, go somewhere else. So go to LoCoco's if you're in the right frame of mind. Don't go if you have any kind of time constraint. And don't go starving (I like to eat some cheese and have half a glass of wine before I go out to dinner anymore, anyway -- takes the hunger edge off). Go if you want to experience some old school Italian.

We were part of a large group with a reservation at 7:00 pm on a Friday night. Only when we got there did the restaurant start trying to figure out how to accommodate a large party and it took 40 minutes to seat us.

We all ordered standard items from the menu, then waited and waited. Finally, after our lodging a complaint, we were served: at 8:30. The table beside us was seated after we were and they'd paid their check and left before we were served.

Shortly after I ordered, the waiter came back to check that he'd gotten it right. He hadn't, so I corrected him. Then, as the plates were finally coming out, he asked again. I told him again and then he served me something completely different.

Most of the dishes tasted like they'd been under heat lamps for a long time, and most were just standard pasta dishes which you'd expect to be easy for an Italian restaurant.

With the large group, the tip was automatically included, so we paid 18% for lousy service and lousy food.

This was our second visit here since last year, we got there early (around 5:30) on a Sunday evening, and the place was already filling up. We didn't have reservations but were seated right away. From the appetizers to the entres, the food was not dissappointing. With good sized portions, (I had the breaded Veal Chop with proscuitto and fontina) you will not leave here hungry. I tend to be "my own favorite cook" so I had no complaints about this place, the quality of food or the prices. Again, delicious!
