“Decent hotel in Santa Rosa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

Was able to book a room at the Sandman on the same night as I was in Santa Rosa for a pet emergency, visiting Pet Care again

I was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean the room was. It was perfect for an unscheduled overnighter. The room was quiet and comfortable. For under $100 you could not beat it. The pool looked nice and clean, did not use it but it would be a nice place to hang out on a hot day.

A hidden gem.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the back side of the property. Rooms have coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerat...

We just needed a place to sleep and clean up as we had a very busy weekend planned and the Sandman Inn fit the bill. The room was adequate and clean. I suggest you bring a sleep mask though, we could not bock out the light from the parking lot the curtains are poorly designed. There is a decent free breakfast which was helpful. It's what you can expect for the price.

We found very high hotel prices around Santa Rosa last week, so based on Trip Advisor we tried the Sandman. It is in a great location and has a nice pool and hot tub. The price was decent. It is an large, older facility that is well maintained.

Our room was nice sized, large & clean. Included a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Breakfast was served in a separate building by the pool. We had the very last room on the bottom floor and we were steps away from the breakfast which was convenient in the morning. The only negative is that the maid service would come and make the beds but that was about it. They didn't replace our towels.

Our blow dryer quit working and when I called for another one, they brought one right down.

Room Tip: Try to get a room by the pool or as far away from the street as possible for easy access to breakfas...

The room was very large, clean, with space to put things away. The pool area was very nice and the contental breakfast was more then adequate, with many choices. All in all the motel was a excellent place to stay.

This was a great fit for my family - convenient location, near loads of dining options, nice outdoor pool, and a good price. It was surprisingly quiet for being right off of the freeway. The rooms were clean and of average size. Beds were comfortable. Impressed with the free breakfast - lots of choices. Staff was very friendly. Overall a great value!

I travel a lot for business and like a room that has all the amenities included without me asking; tv, frig, microwave, coffee pot, pool, and continental breakfast. Room was clean and a nice size. Nice desk to work on and chairs to relax at. Nice to size bathroom to get ready in. Hotel was close to gas station, stores, and freeway. Would definitely stay here again.
