Owner description: "Peanuts" devotees won't be disappointed in the museum that memorializes the work of cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, who made Santa Rosa his adopted hometown. The museum features an early mural of Charlie Brown and Snoopy, a wood relief sculpture of Snoopy showing the changes in the famed cartoon dog's appearance over the years and Schulz's actual work studio.

“Enjoyable; nostalgic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

We spent about two enjoyable (and nostalgic) hours visiting this museum on a recent visit to the Santa Rosa area. It's well done and it certainly evokes lots of memories of this long-running 'piece of Americana".

“Must see for Peanuts fans”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

As a lifelong Peanuts fan, this place is awesome. The museum is small with some changing exhibits. We got there just in time to get the tour led by Mr. Schulz's neighbours, they offer a more personal perspective on both the man and the comic strip. Don't forget to have lunch at the Warm Puppy Cafe and if so inclined, buy Peanuts products at the Gift Shop. There's also an exhibit located on the upper floor of the Gift Shop that's worth a look-see.

I really enjoyed the visit to this museum and I learnt a lot of interesting Peanuts trivia by talking to the staff.

“Peanuts history”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

There was some construction going on while we were there. Still many photo ops. History of snoopy was interesting. $10 entry fee.

“WHAT A GREAT FIND”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

We found this from the sign along Hwy 101. This was not a planned stop but so glad we did. The Museum, $10 for adults, $5 for seniors, takes about two hours. Their was a tour put on by two docents who had been neighbors of Charles Schulz. Great history on both Charles and the 50 years of Peanuts. Don't miss the Ice Rink and Restaurant he built for the community next door. The comic strips on display are just as funny now as when you first read them years ago.
