One of the more relaxed wineries we visited during our Napa/Sonoma vacation. Not only does Matanzas Creek produce great wines, they also grow lavender in the front of the property. The shop is filled with both lavender and wine related items. The free tour is recommended; Ira is quite a personality. The tasting fee of $5 is reasonable, especially considering you get $5 off any bottle of wine.
