We chose this HGI for it's location and reasonable rewards rates for two nights on a family road trip.
Front desk folks, always incredibly helpful and friendly
Location: super quick drive to vineyards, food options, shopping
Internet (multiple boys on computers had no complaints...happy mom)
Arrived at breakfast 35 minutes before the end of the stated hours for service. No fruit (4 empty bowls on ice on the buffet), incredibly stale (inedible) english muffins, and a single waiter who complained loudly to customers about how overwhelmed and overworked he was. Overheard him arguing with a customer that "he distinctly remembered writing down the order for the omelette for this table" while the customer attempted to explain that he was already eating an omelette, and hadn't ordered two. Not a huge deal....but just not the type of service I've experienced at other HGI's. Maybe getting their early is the way to go. No excuse for stale bread, though...that isn't caused by busy waiters.
Still, overall, a nice place with good location and rewards nights that don't break the HiltonHHonors bank.
