We were price shopping when we made the reservation and this place fit the bill. Upon checking in we were a little shocked at how "old Fashioned" our room was. After our intitial shock wore off, and we unpacked and laid down on the bed, nothing mattered. The place is accomodating, centrally located, within walking distance of everything, including the big blue bus. We had a great view of the ocean and that was worth everything. And to be able to walk outside without having to use elevator or go through a fancy main lobby was just what we wanted. I would have liked a few ameneties, shampoo, cream rinse and such. We would definately go back.

We stayed in the Bayside Hotel for one night, we were planning on staying for longer when we booked over the internet but couldn’t bare to once we got there. The rooms are shabby but sheets and towels were clean. I think we were lucky as we had an ocean view, I think we would have left immediately if we had been given one of the back rooms. The car park is very tight and they do run out of spaces. Staff were pleasant enough but not over helpful. The only plus is the location, 20 paces and you are on the beach.
