Stayed here in August on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic, overlooking the Pacific, especially nice when sipping a chilled glass of wine on the terrace watching the sunset. The staff were courteous and helpful and made you feel very welcome. The room was lovely and the bed was to die for. Loved the fact that when you were out enjoying Santa Monica in the evening the bedroom fairies visited and dimmed your lights, filled your ice bucket, turned the bed down and left you chocolates! Even the look of the hotel is impressive.Would definately recommend The Georgian Hotel, it makes the whole LA experience much more enjoyable.

My wife and I just got back from a stay at the Georgian (Sept. 2004). From the moment we checked in (happy to give us an early check-in) all the way through check-out, everybody at the hotel made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is located across the street from the beach and the view from the room was great. This is an older and smaller hotel, but this is what made it so perfect. This is where we will stay the next time we visit Santa Monica.

The staff were very helpful; the location was perfect and the hotel interior was fantastic.

Our room was decorated in chocolate colours and our bed was the most comfy EVER. They even put chocolates on our pillows every night. The room was spotlessly clean - I couldn't fault it.

The only downside is that there is no pool.

I'd definitely stay here again, I just need to save up first...

A nice hotel.One of the more costly places we stayed on our whirlwind tour of Southern California. We had a one bedroom suite for the four of us (2 adults, 2 kids) and it was spacious and clean. The hotel location is great just across the road from the famous Pier. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was extra and not cheap but worth it to sit on the lovely veranda watching the world go by. Very nice.
