We stayed at the Georgian on the last leg on our honeymoon in Santa Monica. From the ouside it looks really cool ane very 1920s which is when it was built. However on stepping inside, the bar/ eating area is really small so I wouldn't choose to eat there. We also had cocktails on the balcony and unfortunately because the hotel is on a main road, the noise of the traffic is quite over bearing, so if you're after a quiet drink, I wouldn't recommend the Georgian.
Our room was OK although a lot smaller than I thought it would be. We stayed in a Standard Queen room. It was comfortable and clean and well insulated in terms of noise from outside and other rooms. I also liked that they turn your cover over at night, leave chocolates and also the weather forecast for the next day! The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed to ask them about activities and sight seeing. I was slightly disappointed that we didn't get any special treatment because we were on our honeymoon (and I made a point in telling them in the run up to our stay, and when we got there). Overall, it was a comfortable stay and no major complaints however I was expecting a bit more for our money in terms of decor and that the art deco look would be quite full in our bedroom, but it wasn't and our room even felt a bit tatty.
