Spent the weekend in Los Angeles for meetings and had an amazing stay at the Channel Road Inn. Reservations, confirmation and check in was all organized, parking your car a few steps from the front door is a real plus. Our suite was huge, comfy bed, quiet, nice clean, large bathroom, minutes away from the beach and easy access to LA for meetings. Tasty breakfast added to the charm. Escape from the hotel routine, try this one out.

In case there's any doubt, we echo the positive comments. The location is a short walk to the beach and near the Pacific Coast Highway, close to Malibu. The rooms are fine. But the best part is the service. Everyone was pleasant and helpful--with a total service orientation. If we visited Santa Monica more often, we would want to keep this place a secret to increase the chances that there would be room for us. The major chains could learn a lot from the Channel Road Inn.

We stayed for one night at this beautiful B&B. The gardens were lovely. The rooms in the B&B were nicely decorated. Our room had a porch off the back that was large and perfect for enjoying the sunshine. The evening reception was excellent with good wine and snacks. The cookies in each room were a great treat. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful from making dinner reservations to providing directions for us. Overall this was an excellent B&B.

Couldn't have asked for a better location for this price. You can walk to the beach and several restaurants. The Third Street shopping promenade is a short 3-5 minute drive. The staff, especially Julia, were exceptionally nice and accomodating. My room was warm when I arrived and immediately she turned on the A/C (rooms do not have their own thermostats which is the only complaint I would have). She even brought me a small oscillating fan. The rooms were decorated quite nicely and there was a common room with a fireplace. Coffee, tea and soft drinks are available 24 hours.
