We were so pleased with our 2 day stay at the Channel Road Inn. The location was great for walks on the beach or around the lovely neighborhood in which it is located. The breakfasts were delicious and each afternoon from 5:30 to 6:30 wine and snacks were available. There is a computer available and wireless access. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There also is a hot tub and terry bathrobes are provided. Bicycles are available as well.

We have stayed at the Channel Road Inn before. As always our stay was great. I had called the inn directly because the online reservations said they could not accomodate us for the 4 nights we needed. I called and they booked us in the Spa room. I did not want to spend they quoted rate and they were able to give the room for same price of the room we wanted. The room was quiet from street noise but the the plumbing must run close to that bedroom as we could hear water running all night long. The breakfast was always delicious and we loved the accesability of snacks all day. The complimentary wine and cheese is always a bonus. The location is great, I always walk the beach, and many resaurants within walking distance. We will be back!

This is a wonderful place to make your home, tucked away one block from the beach. The rooms, the breakfasts and snacks, the beds, the cleanliness, the peacefulness---I could go on forever, truly absolutely perfect. I was there for five days on a showbiz project a few blocks away and I had to work under a lot of pressure, so it was great to come home to this comfortable, quiet friendly place each day.

Great location in all respects---Santa Monica, etc. just down the highway. I talked to several guests who have been coming here for years and I can see why. I hope to be back soon.

My husband and I came across The Channel Road Inn when we were looking for a romantic place to stay for our one year wedding anniversary. We live in the LA area, but had plans to spend the day in Santa Monica and decided that it would be a nice treat to stay the night there, too.

We consulted TripAdvisor for reasonably priced, high quality rooms. We initially ruled out The Channel Road Inn because it was outside of our price range, but the reviews were so high that we decided that it was worth it to at least check out their website. When we did, we discovered that the Channel Road Inn offers great discounts all year long, and we happened to find a deal that was within our price range, and ended on the day of our anniversary! It was a total blessing from God.

We arrived at the Inn a bit early, but were welcomed with open arms. As many other reviewers have commented, the house is adorable, the rooms are cozy, and the smell of fresh baked cookies fills the entire place, creating a nice "homey" feel.

We stayed in a room that had a hot tub in the bathroom, which was amazing! I definitely recommend choosing the hot tub in the room vs. the garden view (although both are nice)...

For breakfast, the ladies made a delicious souffle (I hate eggs, but this stuff was so delicious that I asked for the recipe) and cranberry muffins (also asked for the recipe), and the meal also included fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice. It was a great way to start the morning.

Overall, I'd have to say that The Channel Road Inn is the best B&B ever! The staff are friendly, the place is cozy, they offer free bikes, the food is delicious, and the smell of fresh baked cookies is icing on the cake!

A great find in Santa Monica. We stayed for just one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The feel of the place is just wonderful, very cosy and welcoming. There is a large living room with comfy chairs and sofas where you can just hang all day if you want too. Tea, coffee and cold beverages are available all day long, as well as home baked cookies and cakes. In the late afternoon drinks and snacks are served. The breakfast is heavenly. The high price for the room seems a lot more reasonable when you consider that all this is included in the rate.
