My husband and I came across The Channel Road Inn when we were looking for a romantic place to stay for our one year wedding anniversary. We live in the LA area, but had plans to spend the day in Santa Monica and decided that it would be a nice treat to stay the night there, too.

We consulted TripAdvisor for reasonably priced, high quality rooms. We initially ruled out The Channel Road Inn because it was outside of our price range, but the reviews were so high that we decided that it was worth it to at least check out their website. When we did, we discovered that the Channel Road Inn offers great discounts all year long, and we happened to find a deal that was within our price range, and ended on the day of our anniversary! It was a total blessing from God.

We arrived at the Inn a bit early, but were welcomed with open arms. As many other reviewers have commented, the house is adorable, the rooms are cozy, and the smell of fresh baked cookies fills the entire place, creating a nice "homey" feel.

We stayed in a room that had a hot tub in the bathroom, which was amazing! I definitely recommend choosing the hot tub in the room vs. the garden view (although both are nice)...

For breakfast, the ladies made a delicious souffle (I hate eggs, but this stuff was so delicious that I asked for the recipe) and cranberry muffins (also asked for the recipe), and the meal also included fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice. It was a great way to start the morning.

Overall, I'd have to say that The Channel Road Inn is the best B&B ever! The staff are friendly, the place is cozy, they offer free bikes, the food is delicious, and the smell of fresh baked cookies is icing on the cake!

A great find in Santa Monica. We stayed for just one night and wish we could have stayed longer. The feel of the place is just wonderful, very cosy and welcoming. There is a large living room with comfy chairs and sofas where you can just hang all day if you want too. Tea, coffee and cold beverages are available all day long, as well as home baked cookies and cakes. In the late afternoon drinks and snacks are served. The breakfast is heavenly. The high price for the room seems a lot more reasonable when you consider that all this is included in the rate.

I absolutely recommend The Channel Road in for your next stay in Santa Monica, Ca. It's so beautiful and the staff is so gracious! I was in Santa Monica for a conference at another hotel and really enjoyed coming back to the peace and quiet each evening following a busy day of meetings. I would also wake each morning to the smell of the delicious baking going on in the kitchen each day. My room was just beautiful and my bed couldn't have been more comfortable. There are nooks all around the Bed and Breakfast where one can sit and enjoy a cup of tea, sit and read or visit with others if one chooses. I felt totally at peace and without stress while I was staying here. I am already in the process of making plans to return. I loved it and I hope you will too!

Very welcoming B&B. The staff were extremely helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations etc. Our room was lovely with an amazing bathroom.
