My mom and me stayed at the Channel Road Inn for one week, during our Trip to LA. It was our first time in California, and so we had no idea where to stay. Luckily we had already bought a travel guide from "Marc O'Polo", and in there we read the short paragraph of the Channel Road Inn. This convinced us, that the Inn would be the right place for us to stay.
As we arrived our expectations have been more than overtopped. The house is in a very quiet arrea, near the beach. When you enter the building, everything fits to the location. It's very tastefully furnished, and you feel very welcome. We were positively astonished when we were welcomed with the words: "I've baked you some homemade coockies to welcome you. I hope you like them". And yes...they were delicious, so as all the homemade things we got for breakfast and snack.
The rooms were all differently furnished, and very clean. Another big chalk up for the Inn is, that the staff is very nice and caring. They answered all our questions about the area or where to find the next supermarket.
Now we are half a week home again, and we already miss the tasty meals we got there. But luckily we bought the cookbook from the Inn, so that we could try to make the delicious food by our own.
All told, our stay at the Channel Road Inn was very comfortable and nice. So we can highly recommend it to everyone.
