We were here for diner and after all the great food experiences during our US vacationthis one was a bit dissapointing.
This has nothing to do with the great location just opposite the Santa Monica Pier nor the quality of the food (sushi/fish was very fresh and meat tasty and well prepared). It's the rather small portions that make your meal very pricy (we ordered a menu and shared that but both of us needed to take extra items of sushi/skewers apart from the miso and edamame that we took for starting). On top of that, we thought that waiting could take place a bit more subtle, leaving guests a bit more on their own.
Perhaps if we would have been there for lunch the quality of the food wouldhave lead to a more positive evaluation, now price/quality lead to just an average.
