Went for dinner tonite using Bloomspot $100 coupon. Had a half bottle of Sangiovese, a Caprese and a Caesar salad, Veal Parmigiana and Veal Marsala and a tartufo for dessert. The total bill before the the $100 coupon was ~$145. The service was excellent, the food was very good and very satisfying. The venue is small and crowded and thus noisy. The mode of dress is relaxed. The crowd was of mixed ages. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Whether the food was quite up to the pricing is debatable but the crowds suggest that many people feel its ok. In comparison to other upscale Italian loci in the area, the food is comparable to Vincenzo down the street but not up to Il Grano in West LA. We likely will return in the future. It's price structure would push it toward the special occassion venue albeit the noise level might mitigate that judgment.
