My husband and I made reservations on OpenTable and had no trouble getting seated on a Saturday night. We did have to sit at the bar for about 10 minutes until our table was ready, but we enjoyed it -the bartender was great, fast, and brought us chips and three different kinds of salsa. The restaurant has rather loud decorations and is also not really what you would call quiet in terms of the decibel level (quite a few kids having temper tantrums on that night) but the food more than made up for it. This is not your burritos and tacos kind of place. The food is creative and is healthier than the avergae Mexican fare. I had a portabello mushroom based dish that was fantastic. I would definitely recommend Border Grill for a night out with friends, as long as you're not looking for a quiet atmosphere.
