“Great Food and Service, Very Expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

The food and service were very good. Probably the best Branzino that I've ever had. However, the prices are very steep (example $18 - $20 for small salads).

“Absolutely amazing experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012 via mobile

Excellent all the way around. It should be for the price.

We went for our anniversary and were treated to a wonderful meal with superior service. Would definitely go back.

“Very good.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012 via mobile

If you want a very good food option, this is your place. Solid (if unspectacular) food. Wine list is a little on the long side if I am being honest- it felt like I was holiday a bible!

Relaxed yet formal, my only down is that it is overly expensive- but in an area lacking in options- it is well worth the visit.

“Rush - Rush - Rush”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

Arriving 30 minutes early for an early reservation prompted the Maitre d' to rush us through the evening. We arrived at 6:00 for a 6:30 reservation to have a drink at the bar in an otherwise empty restaurant. We were asked to be seated twice and were shown our table, twice. When we asked to be seated at 6:35 we were give a very poor table by the entranceway, although we were shown our special table earlier (special moment - reservations made six weeks in advance). Don't get me wrong, the food is good and staff friendly but I know a poor Maitre d' when I see one. With so many equal or better restaurants in Santa Monica, visit one that tries to enhace the dining experience.

“Fine food in a casual rustic setting.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

Superb food, excellent service, charming ambiance. Very pricey, but in my mind, money well spent. I would return.
