The location is great: right at the foot of Santa Monica Pier, so you can stroll up the paved recreation trail through the sands from Venice Beach or along the (slightly skimpy) gardens from the 3rd Street Market area in Santa Monica. Cool and refined modern interior a nice contrast to the carny atmosphere of the pier itself.
Had a very good lunch there with my 80-year-old parents and wheelchair-using spouse. High-quality crab and lobster salads, luscious seafood chowder, and a wine list with interesting CA selections.
Would go back again the next time I'm in Santa Monica.
