What a great place! Perfect location, right across the street from the Santa Monica Pier, a few blocks from the Promenade. We had a lovely room facing the ocean with a balcony where we could watch the waves and enjoy our coffee.
We were thrilled with our experience here. The staff was friendly and helpful. We asked for restaurant recommendations from several of the staff and went to 4 or 5 of their suggestions - all amazing.
You can't ask for more than this hotel if you're staying in Santa Monica.
And be sure to eat at Blue Plate Taco, right next door, for yummy and unique tacos.

My husband and I stayed at the Shore Hotel for 2 nights on December 3rd and 4th! We had a wonderful time! The hotel is very modern with clean lines, stainless and beautiful tiles! We had a King room directly overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed having champagne on our balcony watching the sunset. The room was immaculately clean and housekeeping was better than I've ever seen! We ate dinner at their restaurant called Blue Plate Taco our first night and it was great as well! The hotel is in a great location right across the street from the Santa Monica pier and within easy walking distance to everything! We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel feels new and clean, and has a great location. but not all beach view rooms has a god view of the beach, so if you get a room facing the sides into the pool side... beach view is a stretch.. and you pay extra for the view. The lobby feels a bit to cold and "wannabe" hipp and the female personnel at the desk can come across as a bit blond and not very unprofesionale.. feels like they are selective of who they give full attention to and who they dont
I like the hotel and the rooms and will stay here again, but my wife didn't feel welcome at this hotel and that ruined it for her even tho she liked the rooms. if you drive the wally parking is nice but very unnecessary if you park it yourself you only ned to walk 10 extra meters :)

Our whole stay at the Shore Hotel was perfect! The hotel is very clean and new looking, the service was great and the location was beautiful! It's located on Ocean Ave right by the beach and 3rd street Promenade. I really couldn't have had a better time while staying at the Shore Hotel! I'd highly highly recommend it to anyone!
