I was really looking forward to getting off my 6 hour flight from the East Coast and getting into my room. At checkin, which we did at 5:15 pm, we were told that are rooms were not ready and would not be ready for another hour and a half. We finally were able to check into our room until 9:45pm. One of the front desk agents there promised me an upgraded room the next day and free breakfast for our entire stay for the inconvenience and another promised cookies and milk for my two kids, regardless to say, I got neither and when I called down the next morning to complain, the front desk agent had no knowledge of this promise. When reqested a rollaway bed for my child that night, I was told that my room was not allowed to have rollaway beds. After a good amount of haggling, I was finally given a cot. It was brought over an hour later in the form of two baby cribs. When we demanded a rollaway bed, the bellman tried to convince us that I could probably fit my twelve year old son in one of the baby cribs. After more haggling with the bellman, he thenproceeded to try to extort me saying that if we were willing to"help him out" he could see what he could do to get us a rollaway bed. The next day we found out that our shower did not drain, and when we called their "star service", we were transferred to the bell desk, who in turn transferred us to the laundry department, who in turn transferred us to the front desk. We were then told an engineer would be sent to our room while we were out , yet the shower remained clogged our entire stay. The worst part of this was that we were there for my sister's wedding and were really not able to enjoy any of the weekend which was a real shame. In summation, this hotel is definately not a four star hotel. I've stayed at Holiday's Inns that are much nicer than this place, at leats there, you know what you're paying for.
