We stayed here for 2 nights on our way back to Australia. What a great way to finish a holiday!
The hotel was comfortable, quiet and clean. Our room had a view of the Pier and the northern coastline. The staff were friendly and helpful (except the Concierge who didn't know the price of a bus ticket).
The location was excellent. The beach was wide and clean (Muscle beach and the Pier are just across from the hotel). Restaurants and an excellent range of shops are a short walk to the north of the hotel.
We enjoyed hiring bikes and riding to Venice Beach for some light excercise. Our daughter had a great time at the Trapeze school on the Pier - it is amazing what you can learn in a 2 hour session. The aquarium under the Pier was disappointing.
Be aware that the hotel is currently renovating their facade.
