Met with some friends recently for a dinner. Valet parking was available for $ 6 USD but if you time it right (right around 6 PM), there are a lot of free street parkings on the side streets. We happened to hit LA Restaurant Week so most of us ordered the prix fixe dinner. I started off with signature cocktail lychee martini and finished off with coffee at the end of the meal (not part of prix fixe), burrata for appetizer, lobster gnocchi for main dish and triple chocolate tort for dessert. Everything was tasty and well proportioned. My share of the bill came out to $ 50 USD including tax and tips which is pretty reasonable for a full course meal with a cocktail and coffee. Service was decent - the place became busy while we were dining and the server became distracted.
The only drawback for me was the ambient around the restaurant. There really was none. There's nothing nice in the area to stroll around after dinner. Just a very busy street with most of the shops nearby closed for the evening.
