great food and good service - alcohol is a little expensive though - and if you like people watching - this is the place to go!

“A Celebration for the Graduate”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

Impressive establishment. We had my daughter's party here after graduating from Law School. We had a private room which is ideal for family/friends celebration. The room had a huge round wooden table which created an intimate gathering and away from the other customers.

“Great Food, Great Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

Really enjoyed eating breakfast in this restaurant. Basically you can go down the cereal, oatmeal, fresh berries route or the eggs any way you want with a choice of meat route. We did both on different days the food was excellent. The cost is more than some might expect, but it is in line with Santa Monica and LA in general.

“dissapointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2014

was looking forward to a quite and relaxing dinner with family....it was extremely noisy and was difficult to have conversation without yelling ...the food was very mediocre. Starters were OK; salads and ribs; main courses very disappointing. we had the brisket which was tough and stringy ...the meatloaf was average

“Chef Ray Garcia Rocks!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

Our party of 8 ordered nearly everything on the menu and all agreed that every bite, from starters & sides to entrees & desserts, was prepared perfectly, looked photographic & tasted delicious. We didn't find any "misses" on the menu. Add to this an excellent, expansive wine selection & ambiance worthy of the 5 star hotel that houses FIG. If you have an aversion to hotel restaurants, rest assured that once you've been seated you'll forget where you are & be transported. We were also impressed that management is so hands on, helping with seating, pouring, serving, bussing, schmoozing the clientele & whatever else was needed to create a seamless experience for us to enjoy.
The bar scene was worth the price of admission, too!
