We stayed for one night in June. It's in a very good position for touring Santa Monica, right on Main Street. 30 minute walk to 3rd street Prom, also lots of shops along the Main Street area. The Pier and beach are close by. Rooms were clean, hotel staff very friendly, nice coffee shop next door for breakfast. Free parking. Would stay there again .

Just stayed at the Sea Shore last weekend for a beach vacation. We were stuck in the middle of a wedding party that were annoying and obnoxious. They made the street noise even seem peaceful. But besides the ruckus, the staff were very welcoming and kind (they tried to shut the noise down), the rooms were spot-less clean, and the location off the motel was in the heart of party central.

I loved the fact that there were plenty of free parking and never had to pay or wait for a space.

The staff had more personality than Soul Train.

Take advantage of the patio and sun deck.

Stayed there earlier in June and the reviews I read were right about the traffic noise and about the rooms, so I knew what to expect. My room was clean, the style outdated and the traffice noise from the morning would wake me up but a great location for getting to the beach and getting to other places.

I stayed here for one night in october 07. I had room at the back of the complex so traffic noise was not a real issue. The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving advice on the area and letting me use their internet to check in for my flight the following day.

Location is great, a short walk from the beach. Busstops nearby to the airport and santa monica pier.

room was ok, outdated but clean and fairly roomy.

Downside was the price which is high for a simple motel
