Well can not say much. Booked via booking.com. We turned up to realise that front house at Big Western did not even have our booking! Someone forgot to check and transfer.

The Front Office member would not even offer any sort of customer service, by offering for us to use their Internet so we could check the details. No coffee or even water was offered even though he could see we had been on the road.

No doubt we promptly left and found another place to lay our head for the night:)

Driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles on our Road trip / Holiday, We stopped here for one night, On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful,
the room was well equipped and a Big comfortable bed, my wife loved the bathroom which was clean and large for a hotel chain don't know if this is the same in all Best Western Plus hotels as this is our first visit to them but would use them again when visiting the US

Breakfast is very good and included in the price

Upon arrival early that evening it started to rain and it was predicted to continue heavily through out the night. Elaine Twitchell, The Sales Manager was walking out the door leaving for night. She inquired if there was anything she could do to make our stay more enjoyable. I told her we had come up from the Los Angeles area on “Touring Type Motor Cycles” as we usually do a few times a year to have dinner at Jockos Steak House. Kidding, I asked if she could drive us to dinner at 7:00 pm and then come back and pick us up. Or give me the number of a local taxi service. She said they were short handed this evening but let me see what I can do. As I was checking in a few minutes later she introduced me to Max Tucker who just happens to be the General Manager who asked me what time we wanted to go and gave me his cell # to call when we were ready to come back.

I honestly can't understand giving this hotel any negative comments. We came to the area for wine tasting. We worked our way up Foxen Canyon and had made reservations at this hotel for one overnight. The lobby is lovely (not that I really care about lobbies:)....desk staff friendly and helpful. Our room was large, clean and comfortable (#136). We had a great dinner at Shaws nearby, and had a comfortable nights sleep. It was a cold night...heater worked great and blankets were sufficient. The included breakfast was appreciated...waffles, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos. Check out easy and I would definitely stay here again while in the area. We travel a lot on weekends...we live near Malibu and love road trips driving up the coast ....Best Western is value, with a safe , enjoyable stay.
