“Just the best breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2013

Thank God for AAA and its Travel Guides (by State) rating accommodation and eateries - it led us to Linda's Seabreeze; and what a way to start the day. Incredibly interesting, tasty and fresh options, not at all greasy; and the very nicest people making it all happen.
Great staff enjoying life doing what they do in delivering the best they can to their guests; making sure no one is disappointed.
The place was full, the service was quick; but not rushing us.
We ate breakfast here each day in Santa Cruz - and will do likewise on our return.

“Worth the wait”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

Very good breakfast place. It is small, 14 tables total. Portions are huge, bring your appetite. Be ready to wait. This is a locals place and they turn out every morning. You will see why once you get in and eat. We only waited 20 minutes, they provide free coffee while you wait outside. The oat and corn meal waffle with fruit is very good. Omelette is very good, just the right amount of cheese. Save room for the homemade cinnamon rolls. No credit cards, only cash. This is a common theme in Santa Cruz.

“Fish and rice breakfast for my husband!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

Fresh off the boat, they serve wonderful breakfast specials of seasonal fish that makes my husbands heart soar with the eagles! And they offer a little bit breakfast perfect for me. I can choose a fresh baked cinnamon roll to accompany my small portion breakfast. Warning....if you want to be seated right away, arrive early! The neighborhood locals fill this place and you are assured of a wait once the sleepy heads awake. But fear not! They set carafes of steaming hot coffee outside so you can get your caffeine jolt while you wait!

“Best breakfast in Santa Cruz”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

First, this isn't Linda's place anymore. Like many locals, I was braced for the worst when Linda sold it but I'm very happy to report there has been no decline in quality. It remains the best breakfast in Santa Cruz. The omelettes and french toast are both great. Ask for the side of salsa for your eggs. The cinammon roll is not on the menu but is really good. There is almost always a 30 minute wait but they have self-serve coffee on the outside patio and chairs for waiting. Service is very friendly.

BRING CASH! No plastic is accepted.

“Lots of good food and wonderful staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

My son, daughter in law and grandson were in town and wanted BREAKFAST - they did not disappoint. I had the seeded french toast and almost ate it all, The Florentine omelet was a hit and the staff was very kid-friendly - even brought a toy to the table for him to play with - would go back again.
Thank you
