Wow, what great sandwiches. Try the shrimp salad sandwich, it tastes like a shrimp louie on french bread. All of their specialty sandwiches are great.
Zoccoli's is a great Deli with a variety of sandwiches, pasta, deviled eggs, etc. They have a nice outside eating area located right on Pacific. Highly recommended.
It is hard to know where to eat healthy when traveling. But we found this yummy sandwich place with delicious sandwiches that had lots of veggies.
We asked a store clerk for advice on getting a sandwich and eating outside...they sent us to Zoccoli's. This looks like a great deli with lots of pre-packaged items to choose from, a drink cooler, and sandwiches made to order. The best part is they have beer that you can drink outside (they just need to bring it out to you).
My partner and I each ordered a sandwich. I'm sorry to say I don't remember what we got but we split them in half and each had a 1/2 of the other's sandwich. We both agreed that we liked one of the sandwiches and the other was pretty plain with bread that was just too tough to chew.
