“Coffee & much more”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2015

We were visiting the area and wanted coffee before we headed out of town. We were greeted by a line of people waiting to order and a glass case filled with pastries, desserts, breakfast items and sandwiches. We did get coffee (Peets)...a chicken sandwich...and two desserts. Everything was fabulous. We arrived at 11am and there was a line to order the entire time we were there. It is worth the wait to order. Seating is available both inside and outside.

“No prices posted...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2015

We stopped by for a late-afternoon snack after visiting the UCSC Arboretum, having spotted the bakery on our way there earlier. It wasn't too busy, and we didn't wait long to place our orders. A list of the day's specials were posted outside and next to the register...without prices. Since the menu ranges from macarons for $1.95 to fish tacos (beer batter, not grilled) for $13.50, we felt we needed to ask--and a little cheap--how much the day's sandwiches cost ($12.50 for the fish sandwich, btw). The tuna sandwich was really good, although toasting the bread would have improved it. Croissants were good, macarons great.

The waitstaff was nice and answered everything politely, but would it be so hard to just list prices? Also, if they bring sandwiches to your table, why do customers have to go bring your drinks and bakery items from the counter? Throw it all on a tray and come collect a tip for service!

“My Favorite Gray and Yellow Building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2015

This little bakery is going to become a favorite place of mine. It's located about three blocks south of Highway One. Take Highway One to Swift Street and head south about three blocks to Ingalls Street. It's nestled in with some stores in a small arty shopping area.

It's an attractive bakery with a designer touch to whatever it does. Beautiful merchandising. Grab a some small table in the sunny dining room. There's also a nice patio area with sun umbrellas in front of the bakery.

The baked goods and sandwiches are very good. I had a hot coffee drink and a delightfully decorated cupcake.

It was really busy! A line forms inside the store at the counter and winds out the door and through the patio area. Be prepared to wait in line for about 10-20 minutes. It's worth the wait.

This is a great place to stop for a cup of coffee and a pastry.

“Absolutely Fantastic Baked Goods and Fancy Coffees”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2014

Large selection of baked goods and actually offer a great breakfast and lunch as well. Best part of it is the outdoor seating surrounded by shops. Gives you a little bit of that Old Europe feel.

“One of our favorites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2014

Kelly's is a Friday morning breakfast tradition in our house, where the kids start school 30 mins later. I think by now we've had everything on the menu and have loved it all. Smiling staff, warm croissants, excellent coffee… Cannot go wrong. Go early…it gets busy...
