Johnny's was just fine for casual dining with two school-age kids. Fine harbor view; if you like sailboats you'll find a passel of them to ogle. The fresh catch was as advertised and very tasty. Still, I was a bit surprised to find that the scallop special was just that: one largish scallop on a bed of rice and pureed squash. Chef's trio for two allowed us to taste 3 different fish cooked 3 different ways with 3 sauces, and the chef obligingly substituted fresh wild salmon for prawns. Ask to sit away from the bar if you intend to talk much--it gets rather loud at happy hour.

This restaurant has changed its menu since our last visit. The fish changes daily by what is available from the bay, so it is very fresh. We did not like the sauces used as well as what was available before, but there was a choice of 4 different accents to the fish as well as 4 cooking methods. Our halibut was a generous portion and the polenta it was served on was outstanding.

Lived in this area all my fifty years of life and never had been to Johnny's. It was awesome they offer great fresh fish. The atmosphere was casual and lively, excellent clam chowder. To top it off the offer a small bite dessert menu that is nice on the budget and very tasty . Can't wait to return.

Only ordered a wrap and clams and it took 40 min!! 4 tables besides us.
