Had never stayed at a bed and breakfast type place and was more than pleasantly surprised! When we first arrived in town we stopped at the beach/boardwalk and walked around. From a distance I noticed many graceful Victorian homes...and one in particular as it reminded me of my grandmothers house. When check in time approached and we made our way via GPS to the property I was taken aback that the house on the hill that I had admired was where we would be spending the night...overall condition was fine..grounds impeccably kept .. exterior needed some painting (I'm VERY picky) but the interior was perfection. Totally restored grand Victorian. Baseboards to mid shin, soaring ceilings, beautiful gently worn wood floors. Loved the front porches that afforded views of the city and beach and sat there several times during our stay taking it all in.. Evening wine and snacks as well as the provided breakfast was classy and delicious..would stay again in a heartbeat and am reluctant to glow so much about the place that reservations will become even more difficult to obtain in the future as there are limited rooms to start with.. Don't think twice about a stay here.
