“SANTA CRUZ YACHT HARBOR LANDMARK”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014

Cruised into the Crow's Nest twice during my one week visit to Santa Cruz late March/early April. Weather was cool and rainy both days, but this did not detract from the experience of dining at this beautiful location at the Yacht Harbor. The first visit was on a Saturday morning for a business breakfast meeting and I quite enjoyed my order of huevos rancheros and fresh OJ. The second visit I joined friends mid-week for early happy hour (3:30ish) and appetizers were half price or discounted. We shared shrimp cocktail, calamari and a salmon appetizer, which were all tasty bar/lounge fare. The Crow's Nest is still one of the best locations to enjoy waterfront dining in the Santa Cruz area and it is just how I remember it from year's ago. It is still a local's favorite and also a popular destination for tourists/day trippers.

“Great view, service and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

We had a group function here that the staff executed very well. The service was great and the guests thoroughly enjoyed the following menus items: Caesar Salad, Seafood Thermidor, Butternut Squash Ravioli and the Ahi Brochette. Of course they liked the view too!

“Crow's Nest for breakfast too”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

We as locals just love the Crow's Nest. It can get crowded, but never for breakfast, which has become our favorite time to go. They started serving breakfast every day of the week a few years ago and we think it is one of the best breakfasts in the area, not to mention the harbor and ocean views. The food is high quality and nicely presented yet really not more expensive than many other local restaurants that are without the ambience the Crow's nest has. Our frequent favorites: my husband likes the chicken apple sausage scramble, and I like the veggie benedict.

“Worst dinner ever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

This place is disgusting. We came here around 9pm and they inform us that the kitchen was about to close so we needed to order quick. We did and the good was horrible. Clam chowder was ok, crab cakes were tasteless and the smoked salmon was simply disgusting. Don't eat there.
