My family and I stayed at Hampton Inn in Santa Cruz on Aug 1 - 4 2010 (room 304). We really had an excellent stay at this place. The services was great from the cleanliness and comfort of the room to the hospitality of the manager Sue. Sue often greeted her guests every breakfast time and was very fond of our baby daughter Hannah (she nicknamed her "Bubba") At the very last day of our trip, we asked her to what other place we should bring our kids beside going to the beach and told us to go to the Roaring Camp Railroad. She offered us four tickets and was willing to buy it from her at 50% discount. We could not refused the offered and bought from her.

The service of this place was so excellent that my family and I will comeback again maybe later this year for a weekend getaway. Will be glad to meet up with Sue and her staff again... Thanks for the generosity Sue.

My stay at the Hapmton Inn Santa Cruz to attend the college orientation of my daughter at UCSC was great from start to finish. I called the hotel to book the reservation and the front desk staff member happened to be a UCSC student - who, on her own time, took down my email address and sent me valuable tips of Santa Cruz and the school - very appreciated for someone who had never even been to Santa Cruz! The hotel is conveniently located although parking can get tight - you do have to drive thought to really get much of anywhere. The rooms are well taken care of and quiet. The free breakfast is pretty decent. i would stay here (and will) again.

Our recent stay included 5 families and 3 generations and we all had a great time at the Santa Cruz. Hampton Inn. Sue is very accommodating, and she booked us 4 rooms all together. The rooms and common areas are very clean, the kids enjoyed the pool, and the make-it -yourself waffles were a hit with everyone! We will definitely stay at the Hampton Inn on our next trip to Santa Cruz.

Hotel is clean, comfortable. They don't offer roll away beds and the room is a bit tight for travel cribs. Free hot breakfast and the staff is very helpful. Short drive to many hotspots and walking distance to food.
