“fun old school attraction”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

this is a quaint old style attraction from the 1930's or 40's. the guide did a fantastic job of making the "visual tricks or mysteries" (if they are that, of course) seem believable. it feels a little disorientating being at odd angles on the hill but i didn't feel dizzy. you get a 20 minute tour for $5 and the parking is $5, i thought it was totally worth it. the place is very well organized, you can call from your car and book tickets for the many tours they operate through the day. a little hard to find so allow time for that on the journey.

“A good fun thing to do while in Santa Cruz”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

I was here with my girlfriend in September and we both got a good kick from it. The tour only take about half an hour or forty minutes, but for $5 it's a cheap and cheerful way to put down some time while in Santa Cruz. Out guide was very good, he was friendly and funny. This is definitely a fun thing to do.

“Not worth going!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012 via mobile

We thought we'd stop off at the Mystery Spot whilst we were in the area. Wish we hadn't bothered! $5 entrance fee and $5 parking to see a wonky house on a hill & have a tour guide make you stand there going oooh and ahh! There were far too many people crammed in on the tour so you couldn't get any decent photos of the wonkiness. Don't waste your money basically!

“This is an unretouched country series of cabins from the fourties which continues to fascinate busloads of Japanese visi”

The mysteries are real, not gimmicky.
Bring a ball and level to try to figure it out.
Best to go other than summer weekends

“Goofy Fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2012

Goofy fun...and does make ya wonder! Tours are a little bit short, but the grounds are fun to wander too, and it's set in a very pretty section of the woods. Silly fun date spot or family day out.
