We only had one night at Sea And Sand but enjoyed every minute. The view is breathtaking and hotel is within walking to pier and lighthouse. The complimentary wine and cheese was a great way to unwind after a say of travelling. The breakfast was also very adequate. Room was very nice and it was lovely to sleep hearing the waves hit the shore and the seals barking at the pier!

First time in Santa Cruz. Just lucked up and drove in looking for a room. Stayed in the Deluxe King (even got a discount). The view is incredible and the weather is to die for (I'm from Louisiana). Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Santa Cruz.

Brilliant location. Vast room. (205) Ultra comfortable beds. Lovely in room double Jacuzzi. Superb shower, more like a 'spa shower' actually. Friendly and helpful staff.
Decent breakfast. Should have been better for that price.

You pay for the location here. In my mind over priced, you can get far better 'boutique' quality for around $350 per night in the area but I doubt you can get a better view!

This place is like "coming home". Its clean, easy parking, rooms a bit small, but really, how much time do you spend in it, convenient to everything possible on the Boardwalk, Wharf and walking paths. In addition, they provide you with a wonderful morning breakfast (which I go in my robe and slippers). In the fall we get wine and cheese and at night, you can enjoy the sounds of the ocean and seals. A wonderful staff sets out to accommodate you...truly a great place to stay oh and by the way, the lovely landscaped yard has a wonderful view of the beach, wharf and boardwalk.......a great place to read or just nod off!

Stayed here for 3 nights in August in room 101. Best hotel on our California adventure. Staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were clean and hotel is in a great location on the bluff close to the boardwalk beach and the lovely town centre. complimentary breakfast was very good and will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for three nights and truly a wonderful stay. Parking looked tight but it was just fine. All off street and safe. Room was fabulous! Got the tub and fireplace room. The bathroom was Huge! Grounds are lush and well kept, with the wonderful grassy deck area overlooking the pier and beach. Walking distance to the boardwalk. The grounds are very secure and geared so no one but other guests (with a key to the gates) are walking by your room. So, leaving your windows open for that ocean breeze, you are still feel secure. Breakfast simple but perfect. Staff friendly. Everything couldn't have been better!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Sea And Sand Inn. The room was small, the bathroom even smaller. However, the ocean view and price made up for it. The inn is located within walking distance to the Boardwalk and adjacent shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was on the second floor. We kept the windows open and listened to the crashing waves lull us to sleep. Awesome! The continental breakfast is nothing to get excited about. It will suffice if your plans are to grab a quick bite in the morning and be on your way. This inn is a great value for the location and price.
