If it weren't for the warm, welcoming, and friendly hosts (Adriana & Constantin), we would be inclined to rate this Inn closer to Average. However, we've stayed at many B & B Inns with so many amenities it was unbelievable, and yet the hosts weren't always attentive...it's a toss-up depending on what you are looking for. The positives were that the room was quite large with a comfortable king size bed, fireplace, and nice, charming antique furnishings. The negatives were that the bathroom was extremely small and if someone were much larger than us (we're average), we were wondering how they would fit. The room seemed quite cold but we kept the fire going and after we asked about turning on the heat, they were accomodating. The Inn is kept cooler than we're used to, so I would recommend to go there during the warmer months when it wouldn't be an issue. There are a couple of chairs, but no other seating area. Breakfast was simple and nutritious and Adriana is willing to accomodate any special dietary needs...it was not elaborate as some we've had, but tasty just the same. A few amenities and extras that we've had at other B & Bs (which they did not have) are: wine/cheese hour, spa robes, individual toiletries, chocolates & fresh flowers. Because of the old world charm and character of the Inn (someone used the word "eclectic"), we would still recommend at least a one night stay at Cliff Crest. Also, there was plenty of parking behind the Inn so we did not have to park on the street and that was a plus.
