“Good Atmosphere ... Very so-so hamburgers”
I went to Bricks on a Saturday afternoon for lunch at the recommendation of a friend who said that Bricks had "the best hamburger" he's ever tasted. The place was over-crowded at lunch, but we found a table and orderede two burgers, one order of fries and two soft drinks (the total came to over $25). When we sat down, the fries came in about three minutes, and they were good. However, we had long since finished the fries before the hamburgers arrived. The hamburgers were very well done, the buns were hard and dry (not toasted, just hard and dry) and the red onion on the inside was so chewy I had to spit it out. Neither myself, nor my guest, enjoyed our hamburgers. While the atmosphere was fun and lively, I doubt I'll be going back to Bricks. It is just too expensive for mediocre hamburgers.
