We are now regulars at Lima Limon. It's nothing to look at from the outside, but inside is charming, good service and great food. Never disappointed, my wife and daughter love it, too. Great - with a capital "G" - food. Not alot of tables, had to wait sometimes, but it's worth it. We try to get there once a week and is now our "go to" restaurant for dinner, knocking Piccola Trattoria a slight nod down the ladder from the top position. The flavors are off the chart, from the bread and dip, to the apps, ceviche, calamari, to the rich selection of delicious entrees ... we never make it to dessert, but have taken the Alfajores cookies home on a couple of occasions.
The only feedback I'd give the owners is that I would really appreciate the traditional green aji sauce that usually is put on the table at Peruvian restaurants. I'd really like that for my rice and bread - but if you've never been there, they do give you a wonderful spicy sauce for the bread, and make no mistake, there is no lack of flavor with their food.
Very thankful to have discovered Lima Limon. I believe it's family run, so don't be surprised when they close down for holidays rather than provide you a nice venue for a nice holiday dinner. Disappointing, but OK.
