Stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and it was a great location. It was 5 minutes to great America, 15 minutes drive to down town San Jose to see fireworks. Toured the Winchester house the next day and it was about a 20 minute drive. Then an easy 1 hour drive down to Monterey, ca so very happy with the location. Also about 10 minutes away from Google and Moffett field.
The room was perfect for two adults one teenager and a baby, very roomy and clean ! Everyone loved the pool and spa, I love the shower area adjacent to the pool, very practical ! I also like that it is "closed" off from the rest of the hotel, a lot of the Embassy suites tend to have it close to the lobby with a glass window and I feel that tends to let parents leave their children unattended. This set-up was perfect and after 10PM they have an adjust only swim time which is also very relaxing. The breakfast was a zoo, not sure what could change just so many people, and the staff members were working very hard. Just not enough staff to handle the amount of holiday weekend guests. I went at 9:30am one morning and it wasn't even worth staying for. Went at 8:50am the next morning and was a bit better, but still a massive line if you wanted a made to order breakfast. Went at 8AM the last morning and I guess the reunion and/or wedding that was there decided to meet at that time and it was madness, no silverware, out of plates, out of milk, out of juice, walked out and went to the bakery across the street.
