we stayed there one night last week and it was great, room clean, large and cute with a nice bathroom. the manager was fantastic, gave us great tips on where to go for dinner and very knowledgable about the area. Would not hesitate to stay there again, in fact if he had had an opening we would have stayed a second night. Wonderful!!

I used TripAdvisor to book this place for the night that we stayed in Santa Barbara two weeks ago, and could not have been happier. The room was spacious, clean and the decor was really attractive, both in the bedroom and bathroom areas. The location could not have been better in terms of being right by the harbor, especially because it was somewhat rainy, so we did not have far to walk to get to the beach, the pier or the shops on State Street. The price certainly was very reasonable considering the location. There were no vacancies when we were there and we could see why. Management was very helpful in mentioning places to eat, and we ended up with a local Mexican take-out restaurant, right by the Inn, that could not have been any better! In the morning, there were lovely scones and coffee which were perfect. All in all, very pleased!!

Looked for an inexpensive place to stay near the water in Santa Barbara; this place was rated pretty highly, and at a good price. Made reservation the day before arrival - got the last room - and glad I did. Nice place, older but clean and well maintained (renovation work was going on during my stay). Helpful and well-informed staff. The park across the street was really nice too. I'll stay here again...

This is an old place that has been upgraded SoCal spanish tile building is only a couple of blocks from the beach and downtown action. Management was helpful and pleasant,recommending restaurants, walks etc. Internet rates are unbelievable during winter weekdays. Beautiful park across the street. Breakfast was standard fare.
