We have stayed here twice & found it to be great both times.
The rooms are nicely appointed & large. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are large with a walk in shower & separate bathtub. Toiletries are by Molten Brown. The pool area is not large but adequate with a pool bar for drinks & snacks. The location is great! Across from the ocean & Stearns Wharf. It is on the corner of State Street so an easy walk to lots of restaurants & shopping. Nice landscaping & parking is easy ( a $10 nightly fee). They have their own coffee shop that gives a 10% discount for those staying at the Inn. The spa is small but has everything you would want in a spa & the private jacuzzi is a good place to relax.
Stay here, you won't be disappointed.

Stayed at this hotel this weekend for a wedding Anniversary, the hotel placed a bottle of champagne and a nice note which was very nice and unexpected. The room was clean and we had a view overlooking the pool and the ocean, the price was high but may be because of Presidents Day Weekend and availability which seemed to be ZERO in Santa BArbara this weekend. I used the front desk a couple of times for requests and they were polite and helpful. We didn't eat in the hotel and I was going to use the gym but it looked very cramped and without a TV that I could see so I ran along the beach, better choice anyway.
Overall the hotel was very pleasant, the location was excellent and everything else lived up to our expaectations.

Ideal location if you love the beach and want the convenience of the trolley taking you to shops and restaurants. Room was spacious and we had a great view of State Street from our balcony. Very quiet at night. Beds were very comfy. I wish breakfast was included, but aside from that, ideal spot for our needs. We will stay there again.

Having stayed at other 4 star hotels this one seems to fall short. The rooms were fine but the furniture was tired and worn. The overall stay seemed more like a 2 or 3 star experience. There was nobody in sight to help with bags, you just park your car in a carport and drag your stuff up yourself. I felt like I was checking into a Days Inn instead of a room I just paid $260 a night for.
