Very nice hotel. Clean, spacious, and right near the water. Restaurants and the main strip is a good walk, but there shouldn't be anything wrong with some exercise.

My only disappointment was that after paying a good penny for the room we still had to pay additional for parking.

The surrounding area is calm and beautiful. Definitely a romantic place to stay.

This hotel opposite the Pier is a real Gem. Warm and inviting greeting. The room was a little dated in decor but very comfortable, lovely bathroom and spotlessly clean. The room had a great balcony overlooking the pool and the esplanade and pier. Would have loved to have stayed another night or two to appreciate Santa Barbara's beauty. Great location and would definitely stay at this Hotel again.

We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely property, located at the foot of State St. in the center of Ol Town Santa Barbara. Just across the street, about a 2 minute walk is Sterns Wharf and a wonderful broad beach that extends for miles in either direction.

The front desk staff is friendly and very helpful with lots of ideas for the immediate vicinity or the Central coast wine country that is only about a 45 min drive east in the beautiful Santa Ynez Mountains.

If you stay during the week in off season, they run a special that prices most rooms , even their Deluxe Ocean View at the same price as a garden view.
