Since we have a beautiful freshwater lagoon which is home to Ducks, Turtles, Koi, Goldfish, and Sticks the Egret and lush tropical gardens, we have matched the colors of the carpets and rooms to match our courtyard. It sounds like you enjoyed our comfortable Sealy Posturepedic bed and the private balcony with the view. We apologize that the room was not spotless as that is what our guests expect and our standards are.

Every day at 3pm we serve up some of the best tasting Chocolate Chip Cookies for our guests. We always want to welcome our guests that choose to stay with us and what better way than fresh cookies? Unfortunately, it sounds like your experience with us was not as good as it should have been or what we expect to provide our guests. All of our Suites are on the second floor and we can see how that might cause a problem for an 80 year old person. We always attempt to assist our guests with their luggage if they need assistance at any time.

Our lush gardens and lagoons are home to Ducks, Turtles, Koi, Goldfish, and Sticks the Egret. We are sorry that you did not find it as inviting as most of our other guests do. It has won awards for its beauty and is a place where a lot of guests rest, relax, and unwind. As for your Suite having trash under the table, that is not acceptable to us and our high standards for cleanliness. We also apologize for any extra noise that you might have heard, we are looking into this so that it does not affect the next guest in the Suite. As for the Waffles, they are made to order and we are sorry that you did not see them in the kitchen area. They are constantly restocking the breakfast food, cleaning up, and making batter and waffles. Our Security corridors do need the room keys to enter into; this is strictly for the upgraded security of all of our guests. We do appreciate your letting us know of the things that we still need to work on to WOW our guests.

Hopefully if you return to beautiful Santa Barbara, you will give us a call and we can get you a nice clean comfortable room downstairs away from any noise. We would love another opportunity to earn your business in the future.

Thank you so much for mentioning about your great find here in beautiful Santa Barbara. Our fabulous staff and groundskeepers do a magnificent job keeping our property up to its highest levels. Our Cleaning staff works diligently on maintaining our guest rooms and they always make sure that the rooms are spotless for each and every check in at 3pm. Sylvia who is our Head of Housekeeping is the creative one that decorates our hotel and she sure does a magnificent job each year.
