“Great service, great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014

We ordered the no-time breakfast, a breakfast sandwich, eggs benny and the yogurt and granola for breakfast. No-time breakfast was great, sausage enjoyed. Breakfast sandwich much larger than expected and the croissant was melt-in-your-mouth buttery. The potato hash was tasty but peppers unexpected so was unable to finish due to an allergy at the table. Eggs bennedict was over their 'famous pastry puff' and would recommend the English muffin as the pastry was so good but too heavy with the hollandaise sauce. The yogurt and granola was great! Granola had a good ratio of oats to nuts and not overly sweet, so the side of fresh fruit sweetened the dish. We ordered some Danishes as well. They are nothing you've ever tasted. If you like a more flakier pastry, you won't enjoy the Danish. If you like pastries that are rich and buttery, then you'll love these Danishes. Wish we were able to return for another meal - next time!

“Poor Service & High Prices”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

Not sure but I can't imagine our visit was a fluke. The service was terribly slow and the pastries were not very good - bland and basic. It looks great but doesn't deliver. There are many better options within walking distance. Skip this one - you'll be doing yourself a favor.

“Wonderful breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

Went with the wife and my son for breakfast , nice place, street seating is great. We ordered french toast which was made from a croissant which was different and very good. I ordered the crab cakes eggs Benedict and it was also on a croissant...very very good. Flavors where rich and delicious. they have a great menu and every thing looked excellent. They also have an amazing bakery selection which we took some to go and they where amazing too. I loved this place and will go back next time.

“Nice breakfast !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

Stumbled upon Andersen's and had a nice breakfast there. The portions are very generous and tasty. If you are not into eggs the options are somewhat limited but the entire family enjoyed what was on offer. Try the orange marmelade - it's delicious!

“I'll take 2 tubs of the orange jam to go please?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014 via mobile

We drove to Santa Barbara from LA to watch the Summer Solstice parade in the end of June, hoping that we would be lucky enough to snag a table at Andersen's for brunch. This place is usually packed but we were lucky enough to get a table outside where we could watch the parade and eat their delicious food. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any selection here. The food is delicious, and the desserts and pastries are to die for. One of my favorite things here is their orange jam, which I made sure to buy a couple of jars to take home with me. If you're in the area, want great food, a good atmosphere and excellent service, this is the place for you!
