Get inside and see it, not to be missed. I have seen everything from the Talking Heads/B52's concert to a triple feature Woody Allen film fest....it's a beautiful and charming space.....a gift for the community

“Do they put a dome over it when it rains?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2012

What a treasure. You have to see it. The tromp l 'oeil alone will slay you. It is one place you must visit when in Santa Barbara. I insist. There used to be such art in theatre architecture. Be sure and look up at the mural of Spanish dancers on your way into the theatre lobby. Wow.

“Extremely Unique Theatre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2012

We saw the Hunger Games a night after it opened up while on holiday in Santa Barbara. I was worried that there wouldn't be enough seating available - well - I was wrong - with over 2000 seats available, there was plenty. Fascinating theatre with an interior of spanish influenced buildings WITHIN the theatre! Totally cool! Popcorn and drinks were standard fare and we enjoyed our whole experience. Parking was a slight inconvenience as I had to wait a long time to get into paid parking down the road, but eventually was successful. All in all enjoyed the theatre, but recommend allowing time to find parking in the vicinity!

“A Great Venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2012

The Arlington is a large theater located in downtown Santa Barbara. I have been to several events there, the most memorable being a Crosby and Nash concert (Stills was under the weather). The interior is decorated in an interesting mission style and the facilities are very good. As with anything in downtown Santa Barbara, parking can be an issue, unless you are very familiar with the area and the best restaurant within easy walking distance had just gone out of business on my last visit. Acoustics in the theater vary tremendously by seating location-orchestra right up front is best, as with many theaters.

“Saw Bill O'Reilly”

This was a Christmas present for my husband, so it wasn't my
idea. I was pleasantly surprised and had a good time. Theatre is
small, but it was perfect for this event.
