“Excellent fresh food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Went to this place for dinner based on a friends recommendation and it was excellent. The food was very fresh and homemade (I had the fried free range chicken) with gravy and it was so tasty. They also give you some homemade breads which were amazing as well. Went on a Sat night and surprisingly it was full, but just a 10 min wait. Maybe we got lucky. There's free 75 min parking deck behind the restaurant if you cannot find street parking. Oh and also try the Chocolate Beignets. Best in town.

“Ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

Menu was a little strange, food ok but didn't like our choices so that didn't help. Probably wouldn't go back, as there are better places to try

“Great Breakfast, diverse menu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

We live in town, but wanted a different style breakfast. Tupelo Junction was the perfect choice. My wife had the pumpkin waffle with carmelized bananas. I had the smoked bacon, Gouda cheese and spinach scramble. The waitress recommended the biscuit which was also very tasty and flaky. We both opted for lattes. The waitress was attentive and very helpful in answering our questions as well as making suggestions.

“Great music and fairly good service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

The room is cute. The music is great. The service was good. But we were disppointed in the waffles. They were a bit spongey. That's all. We'd go back.

“Excellent food...slow service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

What a wonderful treasure! I went with a group of new friends from grad school and we were all delighted with the food and broad wine selection. I decided to try three things from the small plate menu: mac n cheese with bacon collards, friend chicken with sweet potato fries and salmon with something or other. They were all delicious! They served these cute little mini biscuits before the meal that melted in our mouths. The house chardonnay was far better than most $5 a glass wines! We did not have time for dessert but I will plan it on the next visit!

The service was very slow and confused. The hostess was brand new. The server probably did not have lots of experience with groups of 8. They got a couple of orders wrong and could not get all of our meals out at the same time. But, they were friendly and so were we so it just was not the biggest deal in the world.

I look forward to returning to this wonderful little place!
