“Funky”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

Unique experience dine in an old original stage coach stop nestled in the mountains above Santa Barbara. The scene outside included bikers, a bar band (great music) and lots of people mingling with beers and food. Inside, we ate in what looked like a small building, but it had many small rooms. The food and service were both better than expected. Well worth the 20-30 minute drive from Santa Barbara.

“The history made the stop”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

The food was ok, but a bit over priced. The service was decent. But the location and history are well worth the visit.

“Upscale biker hangout in hills above Santa Barbara”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

Fantastic pub nestled in the hills above Santa Barbara and a genuine piece of California trail history. Food is barbecue oriented and is fantastic, served with beers from various microbreweries.

“step back in time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

This is an original Stagecoach stop that has been operating for 125 years. So charming! We stopped for lunch on our way to Los Olivos for a wine tasting. Had their specialty which was chili. I like a light lunch so I had a cup of chili and a salad. Delicious. They also offer a chili sampler with all three chilis they serve. The menu had many burgers and sandwiches too. Loved the atmosphere and the service was great. A fun slice of history.

“Can't wait to go back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

I went here on a date last year and was pleasantly surprised on how nice everything was. The food was good, I had Venison sausage and country potatoes, as well as a Mimosa or two. We sat in a small room with a fireplace - such a nice atmosphere. Great environment, great service, great food!

If you get a chance, Go!
