Being European our tastes are completely different to most in the u.s.a. We,ve found the food heavy but not at Le Petit Valentien. Our starters of red spinach and pear with caramelised walnuts, and a crostini of mushrooms set the pace. Followed by beautifully cooked duck in plum sauce, and pork loin in pancetta with a smoked fig sauce. Where we found room for the light baked lemon cheesecake I shall never know. Wines mostly French and we were looking for Californian and managed to find two excellent wines. If you,re in the area well worth a visit.
