I highly recommend the Sandman Inn, it’s a nice motel with super friendly staff. The motel is a great value. The staff are always willing to help and be helpful, will spend many minutes with what ever the issue. I received great advice on sailing winds, whale watching and wine tasting.

The free breakfast was more than enough to get my day started. On our stay, you could choose from burritos, sausage sandwiches, cereal, bagels, toast and other items. My son found plenty to eat, which is what I care about.

I would definitely stay at the Sandman again, and will recommend it to my friends. I highly suggest you stay there.

I was on a tight budget and had to stay in Santa Barbara for 10 nights. Of course you get what you pay for but in fairness, the hotel was clean, I enjoyed the pool and being able to park right in front of your room. They even have a cute 50s type diner with a darn good breakfast included. The bathrooms need to be updated and they really do need new beds as in bed frames. I hurt myself on the wood frame as it sticks out farther than the mattress. I'm sure I'm not the only one this happened to. The mattress was too soft for me. I also enjoyed that the room had two doors; one to the car; the other to the pool. It made for a nice breeze.

We stayed at this hotel for the Halloween weekend because it seemed like a good deal, but it turned out to be a cheap motel. The first room they put us in had multiple red bugs crawling all over the sheets and a bigger beetle type bug. The woman in the lobby updated our room but I was completly grossed out by the bugs still! The new room seemed to have something like a rodent moving around in the ceiling and the fridge was way too loud. They needed a fan in the bathroom everytime we returned to the room it was musty from the showers we took earlier. Overall a gross experience. Wouldn't stay again.

Actually it´s just another USA Motel, but surprisingly they offer free breakfast in a nice Diner, free WIFI, 2 nice little pools and a relaxing jacuzzi! Rooms are spacious. The staff is super friendly, special thanks to Matt at the reception! Location is at State Street which brings you direct into downtown and the beaches within a 10 minutes drive. And even the Santa Barbara Bowl isn´t that far away, good for me, since I was there because of the Bob Dylan concert! Would stay in this motel again and again!
