Shopping, people watching and eating is always fun and you can get it here! Along with the beautiful architecture all around.

“Drive carefully/ the traffic is heavy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

We always like to look at the great shops along State St. but parking is a bear at times and you can't stop anywhere except for traffic lights.

“Hustle and Bustle in the cool California air”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

I love walking, shopping and dining in the many establishments on State Street. Many of the Spanish style buildings are beautiful, especially when the bougainvillea is in bloom and cascades down the walls. There are a lot of people usually milling about, and lots of little cafes with outside tables to sit down and catch your breath and people watch. There is a great art museum, old time theaters, restaurants, and at night, there are plenty of clubs with music to entertain you. I love it!
